Crystal Lotus Garden Pewter Trinket Jewelry Box w/ Frog

This is an exquisitely handcrafted Thai pewter trinket box featuring lovely crystal Lotus flowers and small frog perched on a lilypad garden.  The base is adorned with two dragons of good fortune.   There are 3 Lotus Buds, 2 Flowers in Bloom and 2 Seed Pods with precisely placed crystal seeds on a seamlessly hinged top.   In Thai culture Lotus flowers symbolize fresh starts and new beginnings and are given as offerings of respect to the Buddha at temples and buddhist ceremonies.   This Lotus Garden is a lovely work of art in Thai traditional pewter style.
